Early Years
Anne is an Early Years music specialist teaching curriculum and instrumental music in Early Years settings and Reception classes. Having completed Colourstrings Kindergarten and Stringbabies training, Anne has developed her own unique system ‘String Steps’ to introduce young children to music and instrumental skills at an early age.
String Steps
‘String Steps’ music classes introduce young children to music and instrumental playing at an early age, helping to develop their motor and social skills and covering many aspects of the Early Years Foundation curriculum. Based on the concepts of Dalcroze and Kodaly, students are introduced to basic musical concepts through singing, games, percussion and movement before applying these skills to instrumental music making on the violin.
