Instrumental Music Lessons
Anne is an experienced instrumental music teacher of violin, viola and piano, also teaching keyboards, music theory and beginner cello. Mainly teaching students from 2-18 years, Anne also teaches adults with many beginners starting over the age of 80.
Lessons are planned to meet the student’s individual needs. If they wish to take formal qualifications, students are prepared for ABRSM, Trinity Guildhall or other exams, but many learn for fun and enjoyment. Students range from complete beginners to post-grade 8 students preparing for further education and diploma level qualifications.
Educational Settings
As well as teaching privately, Anne works in local primary and secondary schools as a peripatetic teacher, taking individual, group and whole class instrumental lessons, also specialising in the Early Years curriculum.
Anne prepares students for GCSE individual performance and ensemble recordings, school recitals and concerts, also directing school ensembles and after school music activities.
